Playwrighting
Jared Reynolds wrote his first play in high school for fun without really considering that anything would come of it. Years later, he was discussing playwrighting with his college advisor, who encouraged him to begin writing again. Under his advisor's mentorship, he developed his first short play, Blizzard, which was performed by the University's Theater Club the following year. By 2018, he had two other short plays- E.Y.E. and The Missing Connection- produced through the University's "Student New Works Festival." His short play, Experiential Education, was produced in 2022 by Nelson Hall Theatre as part of their CT Playwrights Showcase. He is also a Member of the Dramatist's Guild.
In his spare time, Jared writes reviews for Broadwayworld.com and he can also be found on New Play Exchange. If you're interested in producing, workshopping, or reading any of his works, contact him through the Contact Form or by emailing him at jaredreynoldsprofessional@gmail.com.
